13-year-old girl dies after being hit by school bus in Farrukhabad

Farrukhabad, Oct 29 (UNI) A tragic road accident claimed the life of a 13-year-old girl in Farrukhabad district’s Kampil police station area on Wednesday morning.
According to police sources, the victim, identified as Riya, a resident of Bhainsrana village under Raja Ka Rampur police station in Etah district, had come to stay with her sister in Kaimganj, Farrukhabad. Around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, she was traveling with her brother Nitesh on a motorcycle near Manikpur village in the Kampil area when a school bus struck their vehicle.
Riya fell from the motorcycle and was crushed to death under the wheels of the bus, while her brother narrowly escaped unhurt. Following the incident, the bus driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle.

HP: Three held with heroin in Palampur
