Case of alleged corporal punishment reported in Himachal school

Shimla, Nov 1 (UNI) A new case of alleged corporal punishment has surfaced in Himachal Pradesh, this time at Government Primary School Khaddapana in Bhluun Panchayat, Rohru subdivision, Shimla district.
A departmental inquiry and police investigation have been launched after the family of a first-grade student claimed that a volunteer teacher beat their child, injuring his ear.
According to a complaint shared on social media, Nitish, who assists voluntarily at the school, allegedly pulled the six-year-old’s ear so forcefully that it started bleeding. The incident, which reportedly occurred five days ago, came to light after the child’s father, Durga Das, raised the issue online, demanding strict action.
