Punjab: 14 including 6 foreign nationals arrested for looting people

Phagwara, Mar 22 (UNI) The Phagwara district police, headed by SSP Vatsala Gupta, have arrested 14 girls including six foreign national girls from Nigeria and Ghana on the charges of looting passersby in two different cases.
Mr. Gupta, while confirming it here on Friday, said that acting on the two different complaints lodged by Varinder Singh of Beas and Arvinder Kumar of Nanak Nagri Phagwara, the police raided two deserted places near Law Gate and arrested these 14 girls, including six foreign nationals, involved in looting the passerby people under the cover of threatening them and blackmailing.
He said the police have arrested about three dozen.
