Suspicious flying object triggers alert near Hisar Airport, later identified as weather dept device

Chandigarh, Dec 3 (UNI) A brief scare unfolded in Hisar on Wednesday morning after residents spotted a suspicious electronic device lying in bushes near Raipur Road.
The location is considered highly sensitive, as it falls close to Hisar Airport and within proximity of the Army Cantonment. Locals immediately informed the police, prompting a rapid response from the Sadar police team.
Officers secured the area and called technical experts to examine the object. The device appeared to be a small flying instrument attached to a parachute-like structure. It featured a white box equipped with red and green indicator lights, giving rise to concerns about its origin and purpose.

SIT summons Udhamsingh Nagar SSP in farmer's suicide case in Uttarakhand
