Mysterious disease hits apple orchards, CM orders scientific probe

Shimla, July 8 (UNI) A delegation of apple growers met Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister S S Sukhu today and informed him that an unidentified disease is affecting the health of apple trees.
The mysterious disease rapidly spreading across apple orchards has raised serious concerns among fruit growers. In response, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed immediate scientific investigation into the outbreak, which is causing significant damage to crops.
According to the growers, the disease is causing premature yellowing and shedding of leaves, resulting in a drastic decline in apple production this season.
