Cong murdered democracy, disrespected Constitution, alleges J&K BJP

Jammu, Nov 26 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir unit of BJP on Tuesday alleged that the Congress party has murdered the democracy and disrespected the Constitution.

Speaking at an event organised to celebrate the day of adoption of the Indian Constitution as “Samvidhan Divas” at party headquarters here, BJP leaders also paid floral tributes to the Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar remembering his important contribution to the framing and adoption of the Indian Constitution.
Ashok Koul said that the Indian constitution is extremely well drafted gifting everyone with all the basic rights and keeping all the necessities for the advancement of the Nation. Highlighting the extraordinary life of Dr. Ambedkar, he pointed out that Mahatma Gandhi noticed his wisdom and asked Jawaharlal Nehru to trust Dr. Ambedkar with the important task of being the chairman of the drafting committee of the Indian Constitution.

MLA Choudhary Vikram Randhawa extending greetings to all said this day carries immense importance. He gave a brief history of the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949 under the leadership of Dr. Ambedkar, since its first idea in 1895, then its practical form in 1920 and other milestones, and stressed that we should obey the rights and duties enshrined in the Constitution.
