UP govt to ensure 100 pc operation of UPSRTC buses during Holi

Lucknow, Mar 21 (UNI) In the wake of heavy rush of passengers during the Holi festival the Uttar Pradesh government will ensure 100 percent operation of UP State Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses.
Managing Director of the UPSRTC Masoom Ali Sarwar has instructed all the regional and assistant regional managers to ensure 100 percent operation of buses as well as comprehensive passenger facilities at the bus stands in view of the Holi festival.
He said that in view of the large number of people moving to various destinations before and after the date of the main festival on March 24 and 25, 100 percent on-road availability of buses will be ensured and operated with the aim of providing adequate transportation facilities to the passengers.
