Jammu police urges public to take extra care of their smart devices: SP

Jammu, Dec 4 (UNI) After recovering the lost phones under Operation Re-connect and handing them over to their owners, Jammu Police on Wednesday urged public to take extra care of their smart devices especially phones as they contain personal information.
"Take extra care with your communication devices, as smartphones not only store valuable contacts but also contain sensitive personal information, such as photographs, emails, text messages, and financial details," Ajay Sharma, Superintendent of Police, Jammu South told reporters at a presser.
In a significant achievement, the Jammu Police, under a special Operation “Re-Connect,” successfully recovered 50 lost smartphones, valued at over Rs 15 lakh, in the past six months.
