HC allows Himachal Tourism to continue to operate 9 hotels

Shimla Nov 22 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has been facing a series of challenges in the past few days, with the courts delivering back-to-back setbacks. However, there have been a few moments of relief as well.
A single bench of Himachal Pradesh High Court comprising justice Ajay Mohan Goel gave respite to Himachal Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) by allowing the operation of 9 of its hotels to continue until March 31, 2025.
This came after the court had earlier ordered the closure of 18 loss-making hotels by November 25.
