DRI seizes 36 kg drug worth Rs.180 cr at Madurai Railway Station and Chennai, couple held

Chennai, Mar 1 (UNI) In a major haul and in a meticulously planned operation, officials of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) Chennai Zone seized 36 kgs of Methamphetamine drug worth around Rs.180 crores at Madurai Railway Station and at Chennai Kondungaiyur dump yard
on Friday.
The drug was meant for smuggling to Sri Lanka via the coastal route and a couple was held in connection with the seizure.
