Congress vows to secure UNESCO World Heritage City status for Hyderabad: Sameer

Hyderabad, Apr 30 (UNI) Mohammed Waliullah Sameer, Hyderabad District Congress Committee President and Congress candidate from the Hyderabad constituency, pledged that a Congress-led government in Telangana would strive to attain UNESCO World Heritage City status for Hyderabad following the upcoming elections.

Addressing media after a door-to-door campaign in the Gosha Mahal Assembly constituency on Tuesday, Sameer condemned the divisive and communal politics perpetuated by the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He attributed the city's failure to secure UNESCO recognition to the negative influence of these parties.
