Bengaluru, Nov 19 (UNI) The winter session of the Karnataka Assembly will start from December 9.
Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has summoned the Karnataka Legislative Assembly and Council to convene at the Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi at 11 AM on December 9.
The official notification, issued by the Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation Secretariat, invokes powers under Article 174(1) of the Constitution of India.
The announcement was formally made by G Sridhar, Secretary to the Government in the Department of Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation, on Monday.
The session is expected to address key legislative matters and political developments in Karnataka. The Suvarna Vidhana Soudha in Belagavi, which serves as the state’s legislative hub during the winter session, will host the proceedings.
