AP is lagging behind in development in YSRCP regime: Cong

Nellore, May 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President YS Sharmila alleged that land mafia, sand mafia and gravel mafia have been plundering natural resources for the last five years in the YSRCP regime and state is lagging behind in development.
Addressing an election meeting in Kovur on Sunday, she slammed that there has been no development in the state during the five years YSRCP regime, except sand, gravel and land mafias. Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan Mohan Reddy have ruined the state during their 10 years rule, she decried.
She pointed out that no major industry has been established in AP during the YSRCP regime. “If the SCS had been granted, there would have been substantial industrial development in the state, generating lakhs of employment opportunities. Naidu and Jagan Reddy have compromised with the interests of AP for their political mileage without exerting pressure on the Centre for the SCS,” Sharmila lashed out.
