Kharge to meet Siddaramaiah, Shivakumar, Rahul

Bengaluru, Nov 27 (UNI) Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday said the issue of leadership in Karnataka will be resolved after a collective discussion involving Rahul Gandhi, senior leaders, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.
Infighting within the state's ruling Congress party has sharpened in recent days, driven by renewed demands for a change in Karnataka’s leadership more than two years into the Siddaramaiah government.
Mallikarjun Kharge, the Congress president who arrived in Bengaluru last week for a public event, has remained in the state capital as the party works to contain the unrest. He has been holding meetings with Chief Minister Siddaramaiahand other party leaders as efforts continue to defuse the internal dispute.
