Telangana CM calls for transparent liquor supply selection process

Hyderabad, Jan 11 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to implement a transparent and rigorous process for selecting companies to supply liquor in the state.
In a review meeting with excise department officials held at Secretariate on Saturday, the Chief Minister emphasised that companies already supplying to the Telangana State Beverages Corporation Limited (TGBCL) must follow a simplified trade process to introduce new brands.
However, he cautioned that strict scrutiny must be maintained when permitting new suppliers.
