Telangana CM Reddy defends Sonia Gandhi & Rahul Gandhi in National Herald case,

Hyderabad, Dec 2 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said the party has no fear of cases being filed against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, asserting that the financial support extended to former National Herald employees was done with good intention.
Speaking at the Congress Executive meeting held at Gandhi Bhavan, he said many journalists and staff of the newspaper—closed years ago—had no retirement benefits, and the assistance was provided to support them.
He recalled that some Congress leaders were brought onto the board to revive the National Herald, as the party wanted to rebuild and run its own newspaper. Reiterating the sacrifices made by the Gandhi family, he said their contribution to the nation stands unmatched.
