Was your Delhi visit to wriggle out of CBI net in Karur stampede case?’ Stalin poser to Vijay

Chennai, June 13 (UNI) Questioning the purpose of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president Vijay’s visit to the national capital to attend the NITI Aayog meet, DMK president and former CM MK Stalin on Saturday sought to know whether it was for wriggling himself out and safeguard himself from the CBI net in the horrendous Karur stampede case.
The September last Karur stampede during the rally of Vijay had claimed the lives of 41 people and the Supreme Court had transferred the probe to the CBI. The agency had summoned Vijay thrice to Delhi in connection with the investigation.
Stalin addressing a DMK women’s wing meeting in the city, was returning the compliment to Vijay, who had made a similar charge against him for attending the NITI Aayog meet when he was the Chief Minister. Then, Vijay had asked whether Stalin had gone to Delhi to cut a deal with the BJP since ED had launched a probe into the liquor scam.
