Indore, Nov 13 (UNI) India star pacer Mohammad Shami made a remarkable return to competitive cricket for Bengal while all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed played a fighting knock of 92 against Madhya Pradesh on Day 1 in the Ranji Trophy Elite Group C match here on Wednesday.
Shami, who was out of competitive action since India’s ODI World Cup final in Ahmedabad last November, bowled 10 overs including a maiden while giving away 34 runs.
