Australia Women chase 331, set WWC record

Visakhapatnam, Oct 12 (UNI) Australia Women scripted history at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium today by successfully chasing 331 against India Women, setting the highest target ever achieved in ICC WWC World Cup history.
The record-breaking chase was highlighted by explosive batting, 13 sixes, the most ever in a Women's World Cup match, and a thrilling 661-run match aggregate, the third-highest in Women's ODI history.
The 331-run chase surpassed the previous highest World Cup chase of 278, also set by Australia against India at Auckland in 2022.
