Second Test: Pakistan's Noman hat-trick upstaged by WI fightback

Multan, Jan 25 (UNI) Left-arm spinner Noman Ali etched his name in the record books as the first Pakistan spinner to claim a Test hat-trick, delivering a remarkable spell of 6-41 to dismantle the West Indies on the opening day of the second Test at Multan Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
However, the visitors mounted a spirited comeback to finish the day with a slender nine-run lead.
Spinners ruled the day, claiming 16 of the 20 wickets that fell. Gudakesh Motie and Jomel Warrican led West Indies’ counterattack with the ball, sharing seven scalps between them to bowl out Pakistan for 154 in response to the tourists’ 163.

Bengaluru, Feb 17 (UNI) Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) put up a disciplined bowling and fielding effort to bowl out Delhi Capitals Women (DCW) for 141 in 19.3 overs in their Women’s Premier League (WPL) clash here on Monday.
DCW got off to a promising start, with Jemimah Rodrigues leading the way with a fluent 34. However, the momentum shifted drastically after the powerplay as the Capitals slumped from 60/1 to 105/6. Spinners Georgia Wareham and Ekta Bisht played a pivotal role in RCB’s fightback, stifling the middle order with crucial breakthroughs.
Barring a couple of missed chances from Kanika Ahuja, RCB were sharp in the field, ensuring pressure remained on the DCW batters. Pacer Renuka Singh, in a mid-innings interview, noted that the surface was holding up and appeared on the slower side, making stroke play difficult.
