India face Australia in high-stakes Women’s World Cup clash at Visakhapatnam

New Delhi/Visakhapatnam Oct 12 (UNI) A blockbuster clash is underway in Visakhapatnam as India take on Australia in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, with both teams eyeing a crucial win to boost their semi final chances.
Australia captain Alyssa Healy won the toss and elected to bowl first at the ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium today, according to the ICC.
Both teams have played three matches apiece, Australia have two wins and no result, are currently second in the standings, while India, with two wins and one loss, sit close behind in third. England lead the table after their third successive win of the tournament over Sri Lanka yesterday.
