Lanning predicts selection rotation for Australia at CWC25

Colombo, Oct 8 (UNI) Australia have started their World Cup title defence as well as possible, winning their opener against New Zealand before copping a washout against Sri Lanka in their second scheduled fixture.
With depth right to the end of their 15-player squad, it's believed they intend on mixing up their XI throughout the tournament, taking a horses-for-courses approach at the different venues they will play games at across both India and Sri Lanka. That's certainly the opinion of former Aussie star Meg Lanning, who felt for Megan Schutt, one of the unlucky omissions when Australia played the White Ferns last week.
"It was a brave call because 'Shooter' (Schutt) is a world-class bowler and has been for a very long time," Lanning said on the latest edition of The ICC Review.
