India Women face top-order test against dominant Australia

Visakhapatnam, Oct 11 (UNI) India Women face a stern examination of character and skill tomorrow as they square off against the formidable Australia Women in the 13th match of the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.
On paper, this is a contest between two cricketing nations; in practice, it is a battle of temperament, with India’s top and middle-order staring down a bowling attack as disciplined and ruthless as any in women’s cricket today.
India’s campaign so far has been a tale of contrasts. Wins over Sri Lanka and Pakistan showcased flashes of brilliance, but defeat against South Africa exposed a worrying inconsistency, particularly in the top and middle-order.
