Sherfane Rutherford joins MI ahead of IPL 2026

Mumbai, Nov 13 (UNI) West Indies allrounder Sherfane Rutherford has been traded to Mumbai Indians (MI) from Gujarat Titans (GT) ahead of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Rutherford, who was acquired by Gujarat Titans for Rs 2.6 crore, will join Mumbai Indians at the same fee.
The 27-year-old left-handed batter and medium pacer has represented the West Indies in 44 T20 Internationals and holds the record for the highest sixth-wicket partnership in T20Is — a 139-run stand with Andre Russell against Australia in Perth.
