U.S. shines in 500m at ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Nagano

Beijing, Nov 25 (UNI) American skaters Jordan Stolz and Erin Jackson won men's and women's 500m respectively at the ISU Speed Skating World Cup in Nagano, Japan.
Stolz had bagged three golds in the tournament before seizing the men's 500m title in 34.41 seconds, just 0.08s ahead of the runner-up Tatsuya Shinhama of Japan, while the bronze went to Merijn Scheperkamp of the Netherlands.
The 32-year-old Jackson finished first in 37.78 seconds, beating the Netherlands' Dione Voskamp also by a narrow margin of 0.06 seconds, and fellow American skater Kimi Goetz took the bronze.
