BJP MLA Rahul Narwekar files nomination for Maha Assembly Speaker

Mumbai, Dec 8 (UNI) Second-term BJP MLA Rahul Narwekar on Sunday filed his nomination for the Speaker's post in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
The election for the post of Speaker of the state Assembly is scheduled for Monday afternoon.
In the previous Assembly, Narwekar was the Speaker for two and and half years and presided over disqualification cases of Shiv Sena and NCP legislators.
He filed his nomination in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis, both Deputy Chief Ministers - Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar, BJP state chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule and party leader Chandrakant Patil UNI AAA SSP

Mumbai, Jan 13 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday directed the state marketing department to set up a permanent system for procuring soybeans without any hindrance.Fadnavis was speaking at a review meeting of the work to be done by the Marketing Department in 100 days at Sahyadri Guest House here.He stated that agro-hubs with all facilities should be established along the Samruddhi Highway under the Maharashtra Agribusiness Network (MAGNET) Project.Fadnavis also gave instructions for preparing and submitting a plan for setting up agro hubs in all four divisions of the state.Fadnavis said the preparations should be completed for procuring soybeans in November from next year in the state and the registration of farmers should also be completed in October.The criteria should be decided for the system to be established permanently for the procurement of soybeans, he said.
