Nana Patole files breach of privilege motion in Rs 3,000 Cr toll scam case

Mumbai, July 9 (UNI) Congress leader and MLA Nana Patole has filed a breach of privilege motion in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly over an alleged Rs 3,000 crore toll scam involving private contractors and senior government officials.
He has accused the government of granting an illegal contract extension to a private toll operator at five toll plazas on Mumbai’s entry points—despite a cabinet decision offering toll exemption to light vehicles and state--run buses.
Patole has named the Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary of the Public Works Department, and the Managing Director of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) in his motion.
