Maharashtra Board announces SSC & HSC examination schedule for 2026

Ch. Sambhajinagar, Nov 1 (UNI) The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has officially released the examination timetable for the upcoming year 2026, covering both Class 10 and Class 12 board tests.
The complete schedule is now accessible through the board's official website at mahahsscboard.in for students and educational institutions.
According to the newly announced schedule, Higher Secondary Certificate examinations for Class 12 students will begin on February 10, 2026, and continue until March 11, 2026. These examinations will be conducted across two separate shifts daily, with the morning session scheduled from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and the afternoon session from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Bombay HC pulls up education officers over TET rejections in minority schools, warns of strict action

Sambhajinagar, May 12 (UNI) Reiterating that Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification is not mandatory for teachers serving in minority educational institutions, the Aurangabad Bench of the Bombay High Court has strongly criticised the functioning of Education Officers for repeatedly rejecting appointment approval proposals on the basis of non-clearance of TET despite earlier judicial directions.
