Congress leader takes dig at BJP

Kolhapur, Apr 29 (UNI) Congress group leader in Maharashtra Legislative Council, Satej Patil, on Monday took a dig at BJP, saying that it is not confident about Maharashtra so it is holding Lok Sabha elections in five phases in the state.
Talking to reporters after inspecting preparations of election rally of MVA to be addressed by NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on May one, he said, "Since BJP is not confident of Maharashtra, it has decided to hold Lok Sabha elections in five phases so that Prime Minister Narendra Modi can come again and again for campaigning in the state. Notwithstanding Modi's rallies, there will be no effect on victory of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidates in the state.
He said that people want the thoughts of social reformer and former princely state ruler, Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj, to reach Delhi, therefore, Shrimant Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj is contesting from Kolhapur constituency.
