Kolhapur, Nov 15 (UNI) NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar on Friday called for the change of government by electing Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidates in Maharashtra Assembly election.
Addressing an election rally in Ichalkaranji town of the district for MVA candidate Madan Karande, he said, "After the Lok Sabha elections, the assembly elections are now taking place, so we have to decide in whose hands we will give the responsibility to govern and there is no option before us except to change the power by electing Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidates in the state."
Incidentally, when Pawar stood up to address public, it started raining heavily and it reminded him of historic election meeting in Satara of 2019.
He said that many a time when he stood up to speak, rains started and the results of the elections were good.
On hearing Pawar's remark, there was a loud cheer among the people.
