Altogether 298 candidates in fray for LS polls in 11 constituencies of state

Mumbai, April 30 (UNI) A total of 71 candidates withdrew their nominations on Monday, the last day of withdrawal of nominations for the fourth phase Lok Sabha elections to be held on May 13 in 11 constituencies in Maharashtra state.
Now 298 candidates remain in the race, according to the official press statement issued by the state chief electoral officer last night.
As per the final list on Monday, after the withdrawal of nominations by a total of 71 out of 369 valid candidates and scrutiny, there will now be a total of 298 candidates in fray for the Lok Sabha general election.
