13 Jan 2025 | 11:37 PMMumbai, Jan 13 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday directed the state marketing department to set up a permanent system for procuring soybeans without any hindrance.Fadnavis was speaking at a review meeting of the work to be done by the Marketing Department in 100 days at Sahyadri Guest House here.He stated that agro-hubs with all facilities should be established along the Samruddhi Highway under the Maharashtra Agribusiness Network (MAGNET) Project.Fadnavis also gave instructions for preparing and submitting a plan for setting up agro hubs in all four divisions of the state.Fadnavis said the preparations should be completed for procuring soybeans in November from next year in the state and the registration of farmers should also be completed in October.The criteria should be decided for the system to be established permanently for the procurement of soybeans, he said.
