Maha: Pragati Jagtap tops MPSC among Scheduled Caste candidates despite personal loss

Akola, Oct 31(UNI) Overcoming personal tragedy and illness, Pragati Jagtap from Akola has topped the Scheduled Caste category in the Maharashtra State Service Examination (MPSC).
Jagtap’s father, Sunil Jagtap passed away during her exam preparations in 2024. Soon after, she fell ill and required ICU treatment but resumed studies with determination.
A former Agriculture Officer, Jagtap was serving as an Assistant Group Development Officer when she appeared for the exam.
