Pune, Oct 19 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee vice-president, Mohan Joshi, on Saturday severely criticised the Narendra Modi government's decision to reduce the reservation (booking) period of railway tickets from 120 days to 60 days.
Speaking on issue here, he said this decision was not taken in interest of the common people, but for the benefit of the agents and the government, he alleged.
In a press release, he said earlier, the common people used to book train tickets 120 days in advance so that they could plan their long journeys accordingly and also used to get discounts on the same, he informed.
