PM speeches in Maharashtra claim to build a dam in desert :Anant Gadgil

Mumbai, Nov 14 (UNI) Senior spokesperson of Congress, former MLA Ananth Gadgil has made ironic criticism on Thursday said that, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speeches during the election campaign of Maharashtra Assembly are a distortion of the facts and claiming to built a dam in the desert like that.
In his media statement Gadgil while quoting Prime Minister Modi 's statement said ''we have increased foreign investment in the last two and a half years due to the BJP government's focus on the three-pronged development of investment, infrastructure and industry.'' But in October 1.18 lakh crores of investment has not only been taken away from the Indian market by foreign investors, but also they sold shares worth Rs 2.79 lakh crore.
Mentioning that the Prime Minister created an impression in his speech that the IT sector is flourishing as the government is diverting a large share of the country's investment to Pune, But in reality, Gadgil said the speed of progress in the IT sector in Pune is slowing down and the job opportunities are decreasing.

Permanent mechanism should be set up for procuring soybean: Maha CM

Mumbai, Jan 13 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday directed the state marketing department to set up a permanent system for procuring soybeans without any hindrance.Fadnavis was speaking at a review meeting of the work to be done by the Marketing Department in 100 days at Sahyadri Guest House here.He stated that agro-hubs with all facilities should be established along the Samruddhi Highway under the Maharashtra Agribusiness Network (MAGNET) Project.Fadnavis also gave instructions for preparing and submitting a plan for setting up agro hubs in all four divisions of the state.Fadnavis said the preparations should be completed for procuring soybeans in November from next year in the state and the registration of farmers should also be completed in October.The criteria should be decided for the system to be established permanently for the procurement of soybeans, he said.
