Central Railway achieves record earnings of over Rs 122 cr under non-fare revenue for 3rd consecutive year

Mumbai, Apr 6 (UNI) The Central Railway has made a remarkable achievement of highest non-fare revenue (NFR) earnings among all zones of Indian Railways with an unprecedented earning of Rs 122.35 crore in the Financial Year 2023-24, up by 39.92 per cent than previous year's revenue of Rs 87.44 crore.
The CR has also surpassed the NFR target of Rs 102.80 crore set by the Railway Board for the FY 2023-24.
This achievement also solidifies CR's position as the frontrunner amongst all Zonal Railways for the third consecutive year in non-fare revenue generation, showcasing its unparalleled dedication and innovative strategies in revenue enhancement, said a press release issued by CR on Saturday.
