Vidarbha shivers as mercury plunges, Yavatmal records 9.6°C, lowest in region

Yavatmal, Nov 17 (UNI Winter conditions have intensified across Vidarbha well ahead of schedule, with temperatures dipping sharply over the weekend. Yavatmal recorded a minimum temperature of 9.6°C, signaling an early onset of winter-like conditions.
Gondia and Bhandara emerged as the second coldest districts in the region with the mercury sliding to 10.0°C, followed closely by Nagpur at 10.5°C.

Pune, Dec 11 (UNI) The hearing in the case filed against Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi for allegedly insulting Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was conducted before Justice Amol Shinde in the Pune Court today.
During the proceedings, complainant Satyaki Savarkar, grandnephew of late Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, submitted two pen drives, claiming they contained audio recordings of Rahul Gandhi’s alleged defamatory speech delivered in London.
