Damascus, Dec 8 (UNI) Syria's largest airports in Damascus and Aleppo suspended all flights from Sunday to December 18 and December 17, respectively, after armed militant groups captured the cities, according to a NOTAM alert.
Until recently, Syrian Air and Cham Wings have been operating international flights out of Damascus airport, including to Moscow.
The situation at the western Latakia airport remains unclear. The airport in the northeastern Syrian city of Qamishli is controlled by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), with flights operated to Damascus and Beirut.
