Afghan security impound 79 kg of meth, arrest 20 drug smugglers

Kabul, Nov 21 (UNI) Afghanistan's counter-narcotics police have seized 79 kg of methamphetamine and apprehended 20 individuals linked with smuggling activity, a source in the country's interior ministry said on Thursday.

During a counter-narcotics operation conducted in the vicinity of Zaranj city, the capital of western Nimroz province, the bootleg was seized. Authorities arrested one suspect who was allegedly attempting to smuggle the illicit substance.
