Cambodia arrests duo for trafficking over 17 kg of narcotics

Phnom Penh, Apr 8 (UNI) Cambodia has arrested two local people for possessing and trafficking illicit drugs, seizing over 17 kg of narcotics, the country's Anti-Drug Department (ADP) said in a news release on Monday.
A 43-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were apprehended last Friday during raids on two locations in Phnom Penh's Russei Keo district after a thorough probe, the ADP said.
"A total of 17.1 kg of crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy and ketamine was confiscated from the duo's possession during the crackdowns," the ADP said.
