Afghan minister says over 50 people killed in Pakistan airstrike

Kabul, Dec 27 (UNI) Over 50 people were killed and 40 others were injured following the bombing of Afghanistan’s Paktika by the Pakistani air force earlier this week, acting Afghan Minister of Borders and Tribal Affairs Noorullah Noori has said.
On Wednesday, Hamdullah Fitrat, the deputy spokesman of the Taliban-led Afghan government, said that 46 people were killed in the Pakistani air force's raid on the western province of Paktika.
"Based on what we observed on-site and in discussions with the people, so far, we have information about 51 or 52 martyrs, around 40 injured, and four to five houses destroyed," Noori told the Tolo News portal on Thursday.
