New Delhi, Feb 22 (UNI) The national anti-terror probe agency NIA on Monday filed a supplementary charge-sheet before the Bengaluru NIA Special Court against two accused persons namely Dr Sabeel Ahmed aka Motu, a resident of Bengaluru and Asadulla Khan aks Abu Sufiyan who was a resident of Hyderabad under sections 120 B IPC, sec. 18, 38, 39 of the UA(P)A in the Lashkar- e- Taiba (LeT) conspiracy case.
The case was initially registered as FIR No. 384/2012 at Basaveshwaranagar police station in Bengaluru City on August 29, 2012 and pertained to conspiracy hatched by members of the proscribed terrorist organizations LeT and Harkat-ul-Jehad-e-Islami (HuJI) to commit subversive activities and wage war against Government of India.
“They had procured illegal arms and ammunition for targeted killings of important personalities of Hindu community in Bangalore and Hubli in Karnataka, Nanded in Maharashtra and in Hyderabad to disturb the communal harmony and strike terror in society”, the officials in NIA said..
