Nissan launches Micra CVT, prices start at Rs 5.99 lakh

New Delhi, Jun 17 (UNI) In a bid to tap the entry segment car market, Japanese automaker Nissan today announced it’s locally-produced and technology-packed Micra CVT XL and CVT XV at Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 6.73 lakh.


Making the announcement, Arun Malhotra, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India said, “The Nissan Micra CVT brings new levels of technology, performance and style to the premium hatchback segment in India. Its raft of practical features offers a safer, more enjoyable driving experience that raises the bar in this part of the market.”


He also said, “What's more, the attractive price and impressive fuel economy makes it an even more compelling choice in terms of both driving pleasure and value for money.”


With a mileage of 19.34 kmpl, the car offers a complete and attractive package of style, performance and value-for-money, the company said in a statement.


The car comes with a smart Key with Push start stop, steering mounted audio controls, rear LED combi lamp and follow-me home headlamps.


Micra is featured with speed sensing doors that lock automatically when the vehicle starts moving.


It also comes with SRS Dual Airbags and Nissan Safety Shield– Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).
