Nitin Nabin's appointment as BJP Prez will infuse new energy into organisation: Delhi CM Rekha Gupta

New Delhi, Dec 15 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday said that the appointment of BJP leader Nitin Nabin as the party’s National Working President will infuse new energy into the organisation and further strengthen its structure across the country. The Chief Minister, along with senior party leaders, welcomed Nabin on his first visit to Delhi after assuming the national responsibility.
Congratulating Nitin Nabin, Gupta said his extensive organisational experience, disciplined work culture and continuous engagement with party workers would provide fresh momentum to the BJP’s organisational framework. She noted that his elevation to a key national role reflects the party leadership’s confidence in youth leadership and its commitment to the next generation of leaders.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that under Nitin Nabin’s guidance, the party organisation would become more dynamic, disciplined and result-oriented. She said Nabin's political journey has been marked by strong organisational discipline, grassroots engagement and sustained activism. Beginning from student politics, Nabin has handled several organisational responsibilities and is known for maintaining direct communication with grassroots workers and strengthening the party at the booth level.

New Delhi, Jan 18 (UNI) Delhi continued to grapple with severe air pollution on Sunday, with the city’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded at 439 at 7 am, firmly in the ‘severe’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). The situation had already worsened late Saturday night, when the AQI stood at 432 around 10 pm, before deteriorating further by Sunday morning.

CAQM invokes GRAP- IV measures as Delhi's AQI reaches severe zone
