Nitish announces measures for youth & industry on I-Day

Patna, Aug 15 (UNI) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced a series of development measures for the youth, industry, health and power sectors on Independence Day, nearly two months before Bihar assembly elections.
While addressing a function after hoisting the national flag at historic Gandhi Maidan here, Nitish said his government was concerned for all sections of society and taking steps for their welfare and prosperity, since voted to power in the year 2005. Apparently, with an eye on Bihar assembly elections due in October-November this year, he made a series of announcements for the youth, health, power and industrial sector of Bihar.
"From now on, fees have been reduced to only Rs 100 for all preliminary competitive examinations to be held for recruitment for various posts in Bihar, while no fee would be charged for the mains examination", the Chief Minister said, adding it would be great relief for youths aspiring to get government jobs.
