NLCIL, TNSDC & NTTF sign pact for skill development

New Delhi, Dec 1 (UNI) Public sector NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) on Friday said that it has entered into a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) and Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) for skill development training programmes.
The MoU was signed on Friday at Kalaivanar Arangam, Chennai, in the presence of Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Special Program Implementation Department Udhayanidhi Stalin by Prabhu Kishore K, Executive Director, NLCIL, Innocent Divya, Managing Director, TNSDC and Suresh N, Skill Vertical Head, NTTF, P Senthil Kumar, Principal Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Dr. Taresh Ahmed, Special Program Implementation Department Secretary.
Senior officials from NLCIL, TNSDC and NTTF were also present on the occasion.
"This collaboration of NLCIL, TNSDC & NTTF will impart job-oriented skill development training for 540 wards of Project Affected Families (PAFs’) of NLCIL’s operating areas in Neyveli," an official release said.
NLCIL has committed to spend Rs 1.12 lakhs per candidate for this free residential program. This training course will pave way for the candidates to be technically trained and get employment opportunities in premier companies.
