No changes in state cabinet until local body elections: Siddaramaiah

Hassan, Oct 15 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today said that no changes in the state cabinet will be made until the local body elections are completed, underlining the government's commitment to the electoral process.
"The government is ready to hold elections to all local bodies, including Taluk Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat. We will hold elections as soon as the court orders. All elections will be held in phases. Democracy is strengthened through elections... Let the elections be over first, then we will think (of cabinet reshuffle)," Siddaramaiah told reporters.
He stressed that administrative decisions such as a cabinet reshuffle will follow the conclusion of the electoral process, signalling that elections remain the government's immediate priority.
