No decision taken regarding shifting Textile Commissioner's office to Delhi: Fadnavis

Mumbai, Mar 21 (UNI) Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday said in the Legislative Assembly that the Central Government has not taken any decision to shift the office of Textile Commissionerate in Mumbai to New Delhi.
Fadnavis said that textile commissioner and five officials have been asked to come to Delhi. This arrangement has been made to restructure the Ministry of Textiles and further boost the sector.
There are 500 officers and employees in this commissionerate. Therefore, it is wrong to say that the central government took the decision to shift the entire commissionerate to Delhi. No decision has been taken to shift the Textile Commissioner's office in Mumbai to Delhi, he added.
