Obscene video case: Vijayendra demands CBI probe, Deve Gowda legal action

Bengaluru, May 18 (UNI) Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa demanded on Saturday that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) take over the investigation into the alleged obscene video case.
Expressing his concerns about the involvement of prominent individuals, Vijayendra emphasised the necessity of justice for the victims. "Several notable figures are being implicated in this case. I urge the state government to ensure that the victims receive justice, which I believe can only be achieved by transferring the investigation to the CBI. This is my appeal to the state government," he stated during a media interaction.
Earlier, former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) Chief HD Deve Gowda called for legal action against his grandson and Hassan MP, Prajwal Revanna. He also alleged that the case against his son, Holenarasipura MLA HD Revanna, was orchestrated. Revanna had been arrested on May 4 in connection with an alleged abduction case and was released on bail on May 14.
