Odisha Assembly adjourned for the day over primary teachers' stir

Bhubaneswar, Nov 29 (UNI) The Odisha Assembly was adjourned for the day without transacting any business on Tuesday as Opposition Congress and BJP members stalled the proceedings over primary teachers dharna which entered the third day.
The house was adjourned five times by Speaker B K Arukh till 4-20 PM and finally for the day as the Opposition stalled the proceedings despite a statement over the teacher's stir by Science and Technology Minister Ashok Kumar Panda
An agitated opposition trooped into the well of the house, raising slogans supporting the teachers' stir right from the beginning when the members assembled for the day at 10-30 AM to take up the question hour.
